Albany police investigate stabbing on North Pearl St.

ALBANY, NY (WRGB) — Albany Police are currently investigating a stabbing incident that occurred on Monday, July 22, 2024, on North Pearl St. in Albany.

On Monday around 5:40 p.m., Albany police officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 200 block of North Pearl Street.

When officers arrived, they found a 46-year-old woman with stab wounds to her arm and leg, police said.

The victim was treated at the scene by emergency services and taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital, where she is in stable condition.

Police said the investigation is currently ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Albany Detective Division at (518) 462-8039.
