Woman killed in Santa Rosa, $5,000 reward offered for suspect’s search

(KRON) — A Santa Rosa woman was found dead of a stab wound Sunday night, Santa Rosa police said. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for anyone who can find her killer.

Just after 11 p.m. on Sunday, police were called to the Prince Memorial Greenway between Santa Rosa Avenue and A Street because a woman was lying on the ground. She was pronounced dead at the scene.


The victim is a 61-year-old woman from Santa Rosa. Police are not releasing her name until her family is identified.

The SRPD is still searching for the killer. The Sonoma County Alliance Community Engagement and Safety Rewards Fund is offering a reward of up to $5,000 to anyone who provides information leading to an arrest.
