New Mexico man killed in semi-trailer crash in western Kansas

EDWARDS COUNTY, Kansas (KSNW) – A New Mexico man was killed in a car crash in western Kansas Monday morning.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Ronald Crabb, 41, of Raton, New Mexico, was driving a 2011 Toyota Camry eastbound on U.S. Highway 50 in Edwards County at 6:40 a.m.


At the same time, a 36-year-old man from Mount Hope was driving a 2022 Peterbilt semi-trailer with a trailer westbound on US Highway 50.

According to KHP, Crabb drove his car from center to the left and crashed into the Peterbilt.

Crabb was fatally injured in the accident. The driver of the Peterbilt had no visible injuries.
