Man arrested after drug raid in Pamlico County

PAMLICO COUNTY, NC (WITN) – Officials in an eastern Carolina county say a man has been arrested for drug trafficking.

Pamlico County officials said Roger Voliva was arrested Wednesday at his home on Upper Neck Road in Mesic Township.

During the search, investigators found 1.2 kilograms of methamphetamine and 500 grams of fentanyl, a total of 10,000 doses. They also found cash and several other drugs that were packaged and ready for sale.

The 47-year-old was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in heroin/fentanyl, possession of a dwelling for the storage/sale of controlled substances, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Voliva was given a $2 million secured bond and taken to the Pamlico County Jail.
