Suspect sought after killing of man in South Jackson

JACKSON, Mississippi (WJTV) – Jackson Police have identified the suspect wanted in connection with a recent murder.

Detective Tommie Brown said an arrest warrant has been issued for Treylin Dontrell Sojourner, 29. He is wanted for murder and is considered armed and dangerous.

Sojourner is accused of killing Marvin Houck Jr., whose body was found on Pine Tree Drive around 7 a.m. Wednesday, July 17. Houck was shot in the head, according to Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade.
