GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) – Detectives are investigating after a woman was found dead at a construction site in Glendale on Monday morning.

According to Glendale police, officers were called around 9 a.m. to reports of a body in the area of ​​75th and Northern Avenue.

Police confirmed a woman was found dead and officers secured the scene. Detectives and the Maricopa County Coroner’s Office soon responded.

Investigators are working to confirm her identity. It’s unclear how long she had been dead, but police say the body showed signs of decomposition.
