Gainesville Police Request Assistance in Investigating Dee’s Shooting

The Gainesville Police Department (GPD) is asking for the public’s assistance in investigating a shooting that occurred at Dee’s Liquor on July 12.

According to a GPD press release, the shooting occurred around 11:50 p.m. at the store located at 1030 SE 4^th Avenue.

The GPD believes the suspects were traveling in a black Cadillac SRX and fired multiple shots into a crowd in front of Dee’s Liquor.

According to GPD investigators, the vehicle was parked in the city of Gainesville from July 9 to July 12 prior to the shooting.
