Investigations continue after man found dead outside Montco store

LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — Police are continuing to investigate after a man was found dead outside a Dollar General in Lower Providence on Friday.

The incident occurred in the early morning hours of July 19 at the store at 2637 Ridge Pike.

“At this time, we have no reason to suspect a crime and we are confident there is no danger to the community,” authorities said in a statement.

The circumstances of the man’s death, including the cause of death, are not yet known.

Police identified the person only as an adult male of Hispanic descent.
