In New Jersey, an investigation is ongoing into the death of a man who was found in a car with a gunshot wound to the head, local authorities said.

In a joint statement, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia Valdes and Clifton Police Chief Thomas Rinaldi said Clifton police received a call around 12:19 a.m. Saturday reporting shots fired in the area of ​​Lakeview Avenue and Merselis Avenue.

When police arrived, they found the man dead in a Honda HRV, according to prosecutors.
