Cyclist injured in Hebron crash dies: police – NBC Connecticut

A cyclist who was injured in an accident in Hebron on Sunday afternoon has died, according to state police.

Police said they were called to Route 316 around 1 p.m. after a passerby saw a bicycle tied to a guardrail and a man in the woods.

The cyclist had a leg injury and the person who found him put a tourniquet on him and waved down other people to help until emergency responders arrived, police said.

The cyclist was taken to Windham Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.

State police have identified the cyclist as 38-year-old Cui Lin. They said his last known address was in Simsbury.
