Accused of secretly recording sexual encounters

LSU defensive player Javien Tovianowho played 13 games for the Tigers last season, was arrested over the weekend … after police said he admitted to filming himself having sex with a woman without her consent.

According to police documents obtained by TMZ SportsThe 19-year-old confessed to secretly placing a camera in a bedroom clock earlier this month to record several sexual encounters with a woman.

In the documents, police wrote that the alleged victim told officers she found the videos – which were apparently recorded on July 5 and 6 – on an iPad belonging to Toviano.

A spokesman for the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office said The Times-Picayune Toviano turned himself in to authorities on Sunday for video voyeurism.

Following his arrest, LSU issued a statement saying Toviano had been suspended “from all team activities.”

“Out of respect for the legal process, we will not comment further,” the school added.

Toviano recorded 33 total tackles and one pass breakup in his first season at LSU and was expected to compete for a spot at cornerback in the lineup when the team opens training camp next month.
