Police search for man accused of removing ankle bracelet and sexually assaulting young teenager in North York


Toronto police are asking for help in locating a man accused of sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl.

The alleged incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. Saturday in North York near Keele Street and Maple Leaf Drive, near Lawrence Avenue West.

According to police, the young teenager was sexually abused by the man.

According to officials, the man then removed his ankle bracelet and left it at the crime scene.

The suspect has fled and according to police, he is running from them.

Alexis Aldave Salazar, 27, of Toronto is wanted on three counts of sexual assault, solicitation of sexual contact, two counts of sexual battery and three counts of failure to comply with a release order.

Aldave Salazar is described as 5’8″ tall, 175 pounds, with a slim build and short black hair. He may also have a visible laceration on his head.
