New Harlow MP reacts to his government’s decision to suspend £20m of funding for the town centre

The new MP for Harlow has reacted to the news that the Labour Government has suspended a vital £20 million investment to regenerate Harlow town centre.

Chris Vince said: “One of my key priorities is to bring investment to Harlow and I will work with the newly elected government to ensure this happens.”

“The temporary suspension of the Urban Fund is due to the delay caused by the general election and the need for the new government to review the allocation of funds so that it can best serve our communities.

“Sadly, we are inheriting chaos from the outgoing Conservative government.”
