Man arrested in connection with Wood County death

VIENNA, W.Va. – A man is in custody following a murder in Wood County.

Vienna police said 31-year-old Hearl Collins was arrested Sunday in Harrison County following the death of Morgan Lee Lott on Saturday.

Lott’s body was found late Saturday afternoon in a residential building on 9th Street in Vienna.

Police obtained an arrest warrant for Collins early Sunday morning. He was arrested a few hours later.

Collins is being held without bail at the North Central Regional Jail.
