3 dead after mass shooting in MS, says Indianola mayor | News

INDIANOLA, Mississippi — A mass shooting in Indianola, Mississippi, left three men dead, including 16 people who were shot, said Mayor Ken Featherstone of Indianola, Mississippi.

The shooting occurred shortly after midnight on Church Street, Mayor Ken Featherstone said.

The mayor confirmed that three 19-year-old men were killed and a total of 16 people were hit either by direct shots or ricochets.

No arrests have been made so far and the motive is not known, said Mayor Ken Featherstone.
