Fatal shooting in Norfolk under investigation

NORFOLK, Virginia – A homicide investigation is underway following the shooting death of a man in Norfolk, police said.

The shooting occurred around 7:20 p.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of Pretty Lake Avenue in the Ocean View neighborhood. Arriving officers found the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police have not yet released any information about the circumstances of the shooting or whether any suspects have been identified.
