Sexual harassment: 17-year-old girl sexually harassed on her way to coach | Bhopal News

Bhopal: A 17-year-old was followed and sexually harassed on Saturday. The incident was reported to the Nishatpura police station. The accused knew the girl from the past. He has not been caught yet.
Police said the girl was a 12th grade student. She was on her way to her Coaching When the accused ambushed her in the classroom, reached the coaching center and insisted that she marry him.
Police said that although they knew the accused in the past, they had no interest in marrying her as they were from the same community.
Police said the accused had harassed the survivor in the past as well and a complaint had been filed with Intkhedi police in this regard earlier. However, the accused later reached an agreement with the complainant and assured that he would not harass her again.
Police said the accused again followed the girl and came to her classes where he started harassing her. When he created a scene, she called her relatives and those from the tuition class also came in and the accused fled.
Police said she later went to the police and lodged a complaint. A police team is deployed to nab the accused and he will be arrested soon, police added.
