12-year-old killed in UTV accident in Mercer County, KY

BOYLE COUNTY, Kentucky (FOX 56) – A child was killed in a UTV accident in Boyle County on Saturday.

According to the Boyle County Coroner’s Office, a 12-year-old boy was pronounced dead at Ephraim McDowell Medical Center around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

The coroner’s office said the boy was a passenger in the UTV that crashed in the Kennedy Bridge Road area in Mercer County.

The accident is still under investigation and the names of those involved have not been released.
