Woman killed, man injured in Wilmington stabbing; suspect arrested – Daily Breeze

A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of stabbing two people, one fatally, in a Wilmington home on Sunday, July 21, authorities said.

Just after 12:30 a.m., a man and a woman were stabbed to death in their home in the 900 block of North Banning Boulevard, Los Angeles police Officer Norma Eisenman said. The woman, in her 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man, in his 50s, was taken to a hospital, Eisenman said. An update on his condition was not available.

The suspect was found outside the home and arrested on suspicion of the stabbings. His identity had not been released as of Sunday afternoon and the motive for the stabbings was under investigation.

The victims were not identified.
