Third Annual Child Care Community Celebration Makes Waves in Buffalo — Weave News

On July 18, 2024 at 6:00 p.m., Western New York Child Care Action Team (WNYCCAT) hosted a community celebration for grassroots members of the child care sector. WYNCCAT is an advocacy organization whose mission is to “educate, investigate, plan, strategize, advocate, and provide rapid action that leads to productive, long-term outcomes and solutions that positively impact the child care community in all modalities.”

The third annual community celebration was held on Moon Dance Cat charter boat, based out of the Sun Life Marina in Buffalo Harbor (329 Erie Street). The two-hour cruise combined dinner, dancing and fellowship, all in recognition of the important work of the various child care leaders in Buffalo, Niagara Falls and throughout the Greater Niagara Region. In addition, gift bags were silky (as the kids like to say these days).
