One man killed, another injured in shooting in Elkhart – 95.3 MNC

One man was killed and another injured in a shooting in Elkhart.

It was just before 11 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, when police received a call about a shooting in the 300 block of West Cleveland Avenue.

When officers arrived on scene, they saw a man with apparent gunshot wounds.

Despite life-saving measures, the man died at the scene of the accident.

A second man also apparently suffered a gunshot wound and was taken to hospital for examination and treatment of his non-life-threatening injuries.

The Elkhart County Homicide Unit was activated and took over the investigation.
