Two people seriously injured after car hits tree in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Two people were seriously injured after a car struck a tree Saturday night in Buffalo.

The crash happened shortly after 10 p.m. at Arthur and Tonawanda streets, just east of Riverside High School. Both people “sustained what appeared to be serious injuries,” Buffalo police said around 11 p.m.

The accident is under investigation.
