One person died and several others were injured Saturday night after a multi-vehicle crash southwest of Guthrie

One person died and several others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash outside Guthrie Saturday night. Open the video player above for more headlines. Just after 7 p.m., several cars were involved in a crash near State Highway 74 and Triplett Road, southwest of Guthrie. One person was pronounced dead at the scene and four others were injured, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The four injured were taken to hospitals in stable condition, according to OHP. Highway 74 was closed between Seward Road and Oklahoma Highway 33. Multiple agencies, including OHP, the Logan County Sheriff’s Office and the Guthrie Fire Department, were at the scene of the crash. The coroner was also on scene. The cause of the crash was not immediately clear. One person was killed and several others injured in a multi-vehicle accident outside Guthrie on Saturday evening.

Shortly after 7 p.m., several cars were involved in a crash near State Highway 74 and Triplett Road, southwest of Guthrie. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, one person was pronounced dead at the scene and four others were injured.

According to OHP, the four injured were taken to hospitals in stable condition.

Highway 74 was closed between Seward Road and Oklahoma Highway 33.

Multiple agencies, including OHP, Logan County Sheriff’s Office, and Guthrie Fire Department, responded to the scene. The coroner was also on scene.

It was not immediately clear what caused the crash.
