Panchkula: Two men attacked with swords and knives in Panchkula | Chandigarh News

Panchkula: Around 10-12 persons attacked two friends with swords, knives and wooden sticks outside their workplace in Industrial Area Phase II on Friday. Both the victims sustained multiple injuries. Police have registered the case. Aakash, 20, a resident of Railly village, Sector 12, filed a police complaint. In it, he stated that he and his friend Rinku, also a resident of Railly village, work in a private firm in Industrial Area Phase II and that the incident took place when they were standing outside their workplace after work at 6.30 pm. Aakash alleged that 10-12 persons came and started attacking Rinku with wooden sticks, swords and knives. The accused stabbed Rinku in the hand and Aakash in the back. When a security guard from their company helped them, led them inside and closed the main gate, the accused did not stop and pelted stones at their workplace, damaging the glass windows. The police have registered a case under sections 191(3), 190, 115, 118(1), 324(4) and 351(2) of the BNS. tnn
