Hundreds Gather at Canalside to Create ‘Human Buffalove’ Logo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — It took about 600 people, lots of different colored T-shirts and a love of Buffalo to create a tie-dye masterpiece.

This is the 7th annual Buffalove Project. People gathered at Canalside to create a living logo in the shape of our iconic Buffalo to create the perfect image.

“Everyone is coming together to celebrate Buffalo and really show pride in being a good neighbor city and enjoying this great atmosphere that we’re in,” said Patty Watson of Buffalove Apparel.

The project served as a fundraiser for WNY Heroes and the Bob Woodruff Foundation’s Stand-for-Heroes.

In the past, the photo has been seen on billboards, on television and in publications.

After the photo, people were able to enjoy lunch and music.
