Car crash: Fatal car accident in Hyderabad | News from Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Two people were killed on Saturday when their car hit a road barrier and fell into a ditch at Kallakal in Medak. According to police, 55-year-old Ajirao died on the spot and 47-year-old Bhaskar Rao succumbed to his injuries in hospital. The accident occurred when the family of 11, including four minors, was travelling in an SUV from Hyderabad to Basara in Nirmal district for a pilgrimage. More than nine passengers escaped with injuries. According to police, the accident occurred when the family was travelling on the highway near Kallakal when the car hit a road barrier, overturned and fell into a ditch. Police shifted the injured to a nearby hospital with the help of locals. Police said a case has been registered and investigation is underway.
