As a DXB spokesperson confirmed to Khaleej Times, check-in at Terminal 2 has now resumed.

The terminal is “now back to normal operations,” nearly 40 minutes after Dubai Airport announced on Saturday evening, July 20, that check-in was temporarily suspended.

The authority had previously stated in a statement that a small fire had broken out, which is why check-in had been temporarily suspended. The fire was “immediately brought under control by the airport fire brigade,” the statement said.
