Serious motorcycle crash in Shelton, Connecticut is under investigation.

The motorcycle and the car collided when the car made a left turn.

SHELTON, Connecticut – Two motorcyclists were hospitalized after their motorcycle collided with a car in Shelton Friday morning.

On Friday, shortly after 10:00 a.m., police were called to the area between Walnut Tree Hill Road and Thompson St. for a report of a motorcycle and car crash.

The emergency services arrived and found a 21-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman with serious injuries who were later taken to hospital. The man driving the vehicle is in intensive care, while the passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police determined the motorcycle was traveling south on Walnut Tree Hill Road when a vehicle traveling north turned left onto Thompson St. and collided with the motorcycle.

The 17-year-old in the vehicle was not injured, police said.

Police are continuing to investigate the accident.
