Houston man arrested for stealing farm equipment

Houston, Missouri – The Texas County Sheriff’s Office recently announced that a Houston man was facing multiple felony charges after attempting to sell stolen devices on Facebook.

The stolen goods were reported on July 17. The victim stated that he had already seen a Facebook ad with the stolen goods. The officers arranged a meeting with the advertiser, who posed as the buyer.

The man who showed up to the meeting was Shaun Cross, who was then arrested. Cross was found with a large amount of cash and a bill of sale with his fake Facebook profile name on it. Other stolen devices were also subsequently found being sold on the marketplace.

Cross is facing two counts of receiving stolen goods and one count of attempted receiving stolen goods. Additional charges are expected.

He is being held in the Texas County Jail awaiting the posting of $10,000 bail.
