Amber Alert for two boys in Gonzalez County

ROSANKY, Texas (KXAN) – The Gonzales County Sheriff’s Office announced Saturday morning that it is looking for two boys.

The Texas Department of Public Safety has issued an Amber Alert for 6-year-old Lucas Mendez and 2-year-old Lukane Mendez.

According to the report, Lucas was last seen wearing a blue shirt with a shark on it, blue shorts with gray stripes, and blue Sonic the Hedge Hog Crocs. Lukane was last seen wearing a black shirt and a white diaper. The children were last seen in Rosanky at 8 p.m. on Thursday.

The report said that police were looking for 34-year-old Martin Mendez in connection with the child abduction. He was last seen in Rosanky. Police believe Mendez is on foot.
