Girl sexually abused on board a train in south London

A man sexually assaulted a girl in front of her friend on board a train in south London.

Investigators released a photo on Wednesday of a man they wanted to speak to in connection with the attack, which occurred on September 16 around 10:15 p.m.

The girl was sitting with her friend on a train traveling between Wallington and Balham stations when a man started talking to them.

“He then sexually assaulted her and later exposed himself to her,” British Transport Police said in a statement.

“Investigators would like to speak to the man in the picture who they believe may have information that could assist them in their investigation.”
