5-year-old boy not breathing after swimming in Atlanta pool

ATLANTA — A 5-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital Friday night after police said the child was injured while swimming in a pool at an Atlanta apartment complex.

Officers were called to 144 Moreland Ave. NE, the location of the Station R Apartments near Atlanta’s Inman Park neighborhood.

The 5-year-old was found “neither alert, conscious nor breathing” and police believe he is in critical condition in hospital.
