Police investigate restaurant break-in; surveillance footage released

Montgomery County Police are investigating a commercial burglary that occurred at approximately 2:58 a.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at La Fonda Paisa restaurant (7900blk of Georgia Ave) in Silver Spring.

According to police, the suspect is a black male wearing a black and white t-shirt with red sleeves, ripped jean shorts, and black and white Nike sneakers. He forced down the door, broke the glass, and then stole an undetermined amount of money from the tip jar and two cash drawers.
