Two injured in tractor accident in Pettis County

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Friday afternoon in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2013 Ford F-150 driven by 59-year-old William A. Anderson of Clinton was on U.S. 65, one-half mile south of Mather Road, at approximately 4:45 p.m. when the Ford passed and struck a slow-moving 2009 John Deere tractor driven by 36-year-old Phillip M. Staus of Sedalia.

After the impact, the tractor left the road and overturned.

Anderson and Staus both suffered moderate injuries and were taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.
