Police search for man who followed girl off bus and touched her inappropriately • Long Beach Post News

Police are searching for a man accused of twice following girls off a bus in Long Beach and inappropriately touching them.

Police said the man sexually assaulted the first girl around 10:15 a.m. near the intersection of Carson Street and Atlantic Avenue. She was on a bus when the man approached her, and when she exited the bus, after a brief exchange of words, he “sexually assaulted her,” a police news release said.

About 40 minutes later, another girl was sitting on a bus near Artesia Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue when the same man approached her, police said. When she also got off the bus, “The suspect followed her and began to sexually abuse her, police said.

The suspect is believed to be a 21-year-old Hispanic man who is approximately 5’8″ tall, weighs 180 pounds and has small tattoos on his forearms.
