Man repeatedly beat and raped 53-year-old woman in Queens

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — The New York Police Department on Friday released a photo of a man accused of repeatedly beating and raping a 53-year-old woman in Queens over the weekend.

It happened on Sunday, July 14, around 10:45 p.m. at a commercial building near Main Street and 40th Road in downtown Flushing, police said.

According to authorities, the unidentified man hit the woman several times on the head and face and raped her.

The suspect then fled on foot to an unknown area.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
