A motorcycle accident has closed one lane of northbound I-77 in Raleigh County

RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (WVNS) — A motorcycle accident was reported on I-77 northbound in Raleigh County.

According to the West Virginia Turnpike Dispatch, a motorcycle crash occurred between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on I-77 northbound at mile marker 33 between Ghent and Beckley, causing the right lane of I-77 northbound to be closed.

The extent of the injuries is unknown, but West Virginia Turnpike Dispatch said one person was taken to Raleigh General Hospital.
