Visalia man arrested in Tennessee for drug trafficking | YourCentralValley.com

VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A Visalia man was arrested in Tennessee for allegedly trafficking drugs, Visalia police said.

Police said their drug unit received information Tuesday that 29-year-old Guillermo Vasquez, a convicted felon from Visalia, had been arrested in Memphis, Tenn., by a Tennessee agency on suspicion of drug trafficking.


In response to this development, officers said they served a search warrant at the suspect’s home in the 5500 block of W. Tulare Avenue in Visalia. During the search, they found an AK47, a short-barreled AR, high-capacity magazines and ammunition hidden in a locked safe in Vasquez’s bedroom.

According to Visalia police, Vasquez is in custody and his bail is set at $25 million.
