11 people arrested in anti-theft operation in Pleasant Hill

Pleasant Hill Police announced 11 arrests during a theft prevention operation at Crossroads Shopping Center in Pleasant Hill.

According to police

On Thursday, July 18, Pleasant Hill Police conducted a theft prevention operation at Crossroads Shopping Center. During this operation, officers recovered approximately $2,000 worth of stolen merchandise and arrested 11 people at Dicks Sporting Goods, Kohls, Marshalls and DSW:

  1. Jeannette Heredia-Orozco of Concord
  2. Rosa Puch from Richmond
  3. Brandon Henderson from Vallejo
  4. Dennis Scarcella of Castro Valley
  5. Fidel Vazquez Carrera of Concord
  6. Alex Rojas-Carrera of Concord
  7. Alan Alvarez from Rio Vista
  8. Teivishon Nelson Salahudin of Pinole
  9. Jeanette Lopez-Contreras of Pittsburg
  10. Jacob Gerardo of Turlock

  11. A youth from Richmond was also arrested

These targeted operations are conducted regularly by the Pleasant Hill Police Department and are part of our efforts to combat theft and shoplifting, including organized shoplifting. We thank our retailers and businesses for their support and help during this event and will continue to proactively comply with the law and strive to keep our community safe.

Shoplifting

  • 7/5 – Monument Blvd (Marshalls): WMA, late 20’s, long bro hair, tattoo on back and neck, red t-shirt, stole men’s clothing and is currently on property connected to a Whi PK Buskirk Side.
  • 7/7 – Buskirk Ave (Best Buy): SHOP JUST OPENED – PICKED UP A PORTABLE SPEAKER AND A COMPUTER SPEAKER, HMA PINK HOODIE/GRY JEANS/ WITH A HUSKY DOG
    DOT: ON FOOT TWDS DICKS 441/SUBJ ARRESTED AND SUMMONSIFIED FOR PC 488, THEFT
  • 7/7 – Contra Costa Blvd (Nordstrom): RP BELIEVES HE SAW 3 JUVENILES STEALING FROM THE NORDSTROM SHELF. THEY WERE OBSERVED LEAVING THE STORE WEARING GREEN VESTS WITH THEIR FACES COVERED AND CARRYING MANY BAGS FULL OF MERCHANDISE. VEHICLE: GOLD CAMRY
  • 7/7 – Crescent Plz (Ulta): Shoplifting in progress – perfume theft. WMA sunglasses, green shorts/blue hoodie/has a screwdriver in his hands
  • 7/8 – Crescent Plz (Ross): 10-51 Male stole a box of something from a car and put it in his pants. Perpetrator also had a glass bottle of alcohol in his pants. HMA, 30S, 508, BLN MOHAWK, DRK GREEN SHIRT, GREEN JOGGERS, BIKE. RP requests removal of perp and confiscation of property. Perp arrested and directly cited for PC 647(F), Public Intoxication.
  • 7/8 – Monument Blvd (Dicks Sporting): 1 SUBJ picked up a bag of clothing left 1 day ago on foot in TWD DSW area. SUBJ/BMA, 30s, red shirt, blue jeans, negative weapons seen. REQ 602 and pros. negative vehicle connected
  • 7/9 – Monument Blvd (Marshalls): Known victim of shoplifting, RP REQ 602 and criminal prosecution/WMA, gray vest with shorts/khaki shorts underneath, known to have guns, knives and scissors. Unknown if he has any today.
    489/RP SAW SCISSORS TO SUBJ AND SUBJ, CURRENTLY IN THE MEN’S DEPARTMENT
    489/HAD A SHIRT HIDDEN UNDER PANTS. PERSON ARRESTED FOR PC488 PETTY THEFT AND PC 466 NEED FOR BURGLARY TOOLS. PERSON PRE-ARRIVALED AND RELEASED FROM STATION
  • 07/09 – Officer initiated action at Kohls Department Store, Monument Blvd, Pleasant Hill, CA. STOPPED FOR HIDDEN FRAGRANCE
  • 7/9 – Monument Blvd (Dicks Sporting): 5 YEARS AGO BUSINESS DESCRIPTION FOR LOST BIKE; SOCCER JERSEY DOT: TWDS PANDA EXPRESS ON BUSKIRK SIDE. RP REQ PROS IF FOUND. DESCRIPTION/ HMA, BLACK BALL CAP, BLACK HOODIE, BLUE SWEATSHIRT, BROWN BACKPACK, BLACK WEAPONS SEEN.
  • 7/9 – Contra Costa Blvd (Safeway): 2 SUBJS ATTEMPT TO SHOP WITH A SHOPPING CART FULL OF ITEMS. SUBJ1/ BFA BLN HAIR, BLACK HOODIE, GREEN JEANS, BLACK/WHITE SHOES IN A MOTORIZED WHEELCHAIR. SUBJ2/ BFA, BLUE HOODIE, BLACK PANTS.
  • 7/11 – Monument Blvd (Dicks Sporting): 4 TEENS HID MERCH IN BACKPACK. 2 TEENS LEFT ON HIGHWAY SIDE. TWDS KOHLS LINE BEEPING. 2 TEENS WHO LEFT TOOK NIKE FOOTBALL GLOVES. LAW PROSECUTION REQUIRED IF FOUND. NOT ASSOCIATED WITH VEHICLE. LAST 2 TEENS LEFT ON HIGHWAY SIDE. SUBJ1/ BMJ GREEN HOODIE, BLACK BACKPACKS. SUBJ2/ BMJ BLACK HOODIE, BLACK BACKPACKS.   • 7/11 – Monument Blvd (DWS): Man just came out of store wearing a pair of grey/black/white Nike shoes. No vehicle present, walking. SUBJ/WMA or HMA, 40s, 602, black/red/blue BBHAT, black or blue shirt, black duffel bag, LS now TWD DICKS SPORTING GOODS
  • 7/11 – Crescent Plz (Ross): Male passing by takes tags off shoes and attempts to take a basket full of items. He is still inside the store. Suspect: HMA, 40, gray clothing. No weapons seen. Unknown name.
