AMBER Alert issued: 4-year-old Ohio boy kidnapped wearing tie-dye Crocs

An AMBER alert has been issued in Ohio for a missing child last seen in Columbus.

Matthew Brown-Giamarco, 4, was last seen in the area of ​​Wedgewood Drive and Eakin Road, near the Wedgewood Apartments in the Holly Hill neighborhood.

Columbus Police are considering Brown-Giamarco a missing child. The boy is described as 28 inches tall with brown hair and was last seen wearing a Paw Patrol shirt, red shorts and blue tie-dye Crocs.

The AMBER alert lists Sierra Brown, 24, and Tayson Hixon, 23, as suspects in connection with the child’s disappearance. NBC4 reports that investigators told the news agency that Brown is the child’s mother and Hixon is her friend.

Detectives reportedly added that the alarm was due to a domestic situation and they had reason to believe the boy was no longer safe.

Anyone with information on Brown-Giamarco’s whereabouts should call police at 1-877-AMBER-OH or dial 911.

Other AMBER Alerts

On Wednesday, authorities in Kansas and Missouri lifted AMBER Alerts for a missing 2-year-old Kansas boy after he and his mother were kidnapped at gunpoint by an “armed and dangerous” man.

Authorities believe Jaxon Halley was kidnapped by Darryl Livingston Jr., who is considered armed and dangerous. He reportedly told the child’s mother that he was going to kill her and the child. Police believe the child is in immediate danger.

The AMBER alerts were lifted at 9:20 p.m. after the child was found safe and sound.

There are currently two other active AMBER Alerts in the United States. The search for missing 15-year-old Sebastian Rogers also continues, although the United Cajun Navy, a nonprofit that organizes rescue teams, has canceled its search scheduled for March 29.

Rogers is said to have “a medical condition that may affect his ability to return safely without assistance.” He was described as 5’5″, 120 pounds, glasses-wearing, and with brown hair and brown eyes. Rogers disappeared from the home where he lived with his mother and stepfather on February 26. He was wearing black sweatpants and a black sweatshirt.

The last active AMBER Alert was issued on February 20 for 3-year-old Elijah Vue, missing from Two Rivers, Wisconsin. He was last seen hanging out with his mother Katrina Baur’s boyfriend on Mishicot Road in Two Rivers. Vang reported the child missing after waking up from a nap to find him gone.
