Richmond man arrested after 18 warrants for reported car theft in Ashland

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) – A Richmond man was arrested on charges including credit card theft and identity theft during an investigation into a reported theft from a vehicle in Ashland.

On Friday, June 28, Ashland Police arrested Keyshawn Warren of Richmond as part of an investigation into a reported theft from a vehicle on Sweet Tessa Drive in Ashland in May.


On Friday, May 10, at approximately 9:00 a.m., Ashland Police Officers responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle in the 800 block of Sweet Tessa Drive.

After an investigation, Ashland police investigators obtained 18 arrest warrants for Warren. He was arrested without incident in the city of Richmond on June 28, authorities said.

According to authorities, Warren is charged with four counts of petty theft, four counts of vehicle tampering, nine counts of credit card theft and one count of identity theft, among other offenses.
