What we know about two attacks on single women in Monroe County

MONROE TOWNSHIP, Michigan. – Police in Monroe County are investigating two separate attacks on single women.

The first attack occurred early in the morning of Monday, July 15, 2024, in the area of ​​Waterloo Park in Monroe Township.

The second attack occurred late Wednesday night in a wooded area on French Creek Drive in the Meadowbrook Mobile Home Community, also in Monroe Township.

In both cases, a man attacked single women. Police are trying to find out whether the perpetrators are the same person.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating with assistance from the Monroe Public Safety Department and Michigan State Police. Anyone with information is asked to call 734-240-7530.
