In the middle of his speech, he lost his jacket and ripped off his tank top, revealing a T-shirt with the words Trump-Vance on it. In an impassioned tone, he said: “I think about how his family was compromised, how his business was compromised. But what happened last week, when they shot my hero – and tried to kill the President of the United States – that was enough.”

“Let Trump-O-Mania rule again, let Trump-O-Mania make America great again,” he shouted, referring to his career as a WWE entertainer.

Hogan put aside the teleprompter and indulged his penchant for theatrics, earning a “thank you” from Trump and getting the crowd going about 20 minutes before the former president took the stage to accept his nomination.
