Kidnapping incident leads to accident near Charleston, Lamb

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are investigating a kidnapping.

Officials said the incident began around 3:26 p.m. Thursday in the 4500 block of East Charleston Boulevard near Lamb Boulevard.

According to police, a man armed with a firearm forced a woman to get into a truck.

When the police found the truck, a chase began.

The chase ended when the truck crashed into the wall of an apartment complex after an accident with another person.

The apartments are located near East Lake Mead Boulevard and North Pecos Road.

Officials said the suspect was arrested and the woman was found unharmed.

Two people from the car were involved in the accident with the truck.

They were taken to a local hospital where their condition is said to be stable.
