2 people arrested after traffic stop in which “significant quantity” of drugs was found: GCSO

GEORGE COUNTY, Mississippi (WKRG) – Two people were arrested Saturday after officers found “a significant amount of narcotics” during a traffic stop, according to the George County Sheriff’s Office.

Lasean Bryant, 53, of Lucedale, was arrested after the traffic stop and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, officials said. He was given a $200,000 commercial bond.


Tarrin Silva, 40, of Lucedale was the second person arrested. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance. Silva was given a $15,000 bond and is no longer in jail.

GCSO officials said the investigation is ongoing.
