1 dead after two-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 between Chambers Road and Pena Boulevard

A man was killed in a crash between a semi-truck and a car on Interstate 70 in Aurora early Thursday morning. It happened in the eastbound lanes of I-70 between Chambers Road and Pena Boulevard.

According to Aurora police, the person killed was in a sedan that was trapped under the semi-truck.

During the morning commute, only one eastbound lane was open for drivers traveling eastbound through the area.
