Series of fires is being investigated, reward offered for information

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. – Authorities are offering a reward for information following a series of fires in Gibson County.

According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, fires were set Thursday to destroy banks, campaign signs, mailboxes and trash cans. These fires occurred in the Milan, Medina and Gann areas.

According to the TBI, similar incidents were reported in Crockett County on July 14.

TBI says its agents are assisting the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office and Milan Police Department in the investigation.

According to the TBI, the suspects were seen in a dark-colored car.

A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to the person(s) responsible.
