STATE POLICE IN ROCKVIEW

Police responded to a report of a Protection Against Abuse violation on Monday, June 24, around 9 a.m. on Kunes Street in Liberty Township. According to police, a 59-year-old Howard man violated the PFA between himself and the 33-year-old female victim. No further information was provided.

On Saturday, July 6, police began a chase on Interstate 80 West in Snow Shoe Township around 3 a.m. According to police, they attempted to target a black 2016 Mazda 6 because the vehicle’s registration listed 75 violations. The driver was arrested and identified, and charges are pending.

Police investigated a trespassing incident at 207 East Spruce St. in Philipsburg Borough on Saturday, July 6, at approximately 8 p.m. According to police, drug paraphernalia was found in the intruder’s possession during the investigation. No further information was provided.
