Soulja Boy sues Tasha K over allegations the rapper had sexual encounters with a man

“Crank That” rapper sues celebrity vlogger and reality TV star William the Baddest, who spoke of “allegedly intimate moments”

Soulja Boy has filed a lawsuit against Tasha K – the same celebrity vlogger previously sued by Cardi B and Kevin Hart – over a now-deleted podcast episode that claimed the rapper had a sexual encounter with a man.

In May, Latasha “Tasha K” Kebe interviewed reality TV star and musician William the Baddest, who revealed that he had a brief physical relationship with Soulja Boy.

The “Crank That” rapper denied the allegations shortly afterwards on social media (“On my life, God strike me down, send me to hell right now, on my soul, on everything I love, this guy is lying,” Soulja Boy said at the time) and has now continued to defend himself with the lawsuit – which was filed in Los Angeles on Tuesday and first reported by TMZ – against both Kebe and William the Baddest.

In the lawsuit, Soulja Boy’s lawyers say William the Baddest’s claim of an “allegedly intimate moment” has caused the rapper “embarrassment and shame that may cause his fans to abandon him and withdraw their support.”

The interview between Kebe and William the Baddest was deleted from YouTube after Soulja Boy’s lawyers sent the oft-sued celebrity blogger a cease-and-desist letter. However, the interview itself generated headlines and articles summarizing the situation that can still be found online. “Plaintiff is forever harmed as the postings will never be removed from the internet,” the lawsuit states.

Soulja Boy is seeking $16 million in damages from the defendants, just a quarter of the $4 million Kebe was ordered to pay by a jury at the end of the rapper-vlogger lawsuit for “false and defamatory” and “disgusting lies” that included that she engaged in prostitution, had herpes, had HPV, used cocaine, committed adultery, or “performed a degrading act with a beer bottle.”

In December 2023, Kevin Hart also sued Kebe for extortion in connection with a “defamatory” interview she conducted with the comedian’s former assistant. However, a month later, Hart’s efforts to have the video removed from the internet were rejected.
