Busy Atlanta road blocked for GSP investigation – WSB-TV Channel 2

ATLANTA — Georgia State Police block a busy Atlanta road early Thursday afternoon.

Officers are on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway near Echo Street, where traffic tape has been installed near a BP gas station. Atlanta police are also on scene, but say GSP is taking charge of the investigation.

It’s unclear at this time what exactly happened. Crime scene tape has been posted on the Atlanta Beltline’s Westbound Connector below the highway.

NewsChopper 2 flew over the scene and also spotted troopers investigating a car crash also on Hollowell Parkway. Channel 2 Action News works to find out if the two scenes are connected.
